Signs and Symptoms

Hearing Loss

Hearing loss can occur gradually or suddenly, making it difficult to understand conversations or requiring increased volume on devices. It may affect one or both ears, indicating underlying issues that need attention.

Ear Pain or Discomfort

Persistent ear pain, pressure, or discomfort can be a sign of infections, earwax buildup, or other conditions. This may worsen with movements like chewing or lying down and should be evaluated by a specialist.

Dizziness or Vertigo

Dizziness or vertigo involves a sensation of spinning or unsteadiness, often linked to inner ear problems like BPPV or Meniere's disease. It may come with nausea or balance issues, requiring specialized treatment.

Ear Discharge

Any fluid, pus, or blood discharge from the ear may indicate an infection, a ruptured eardrum, or other serious conditions. Immediate medical attention is often necessary to address the underlying cause.

Ear Bleed

Ear Bleed Bleeding from the ear can result from trauma, a ruptured eardrum, or an ear infection. It may be accompanied by pain, hearing loss or dizziness and requires immediate medical evaluation to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.

Tinnitus

Tinnitus is characterized by a persistent or intermittent ringing, buzzing, or hissing sound in the ears. It can result from exposure to loud noises, ear infections or underlying hearing loss. Persistent tinnitus should be evaluated by a specialist to identify and address the underlying cause.
